The song writing progresses - C4 SONG WRITING

It is Day 3 of the learning activity C4 SONG WRITING and the participants are creating the song verses together.

Presented traditional custom about March 1st, celebrating the incoming spring

Nikolay from Bulgaria presented the traditional custom in Bulgaria celebrating the start of the spring and of new life. Martenitsa is a small piece of adornment, made of white and red yarn and usually in the form of two dolls, a white male and a red female. Martenitsi are worn from Baba Marta Day (March 1) until the wearer first sees a stork, swallow, or blossoming tree (or until late March). The name of the holiday means "Grandma March".

Martenitsa consists of two small wool dolls, Pizho and Penda. Pizho, the male doll, is usually predominantly white; Penda, the female doll, is distinguished by her skirt and is usually predominantly red. The red and white woven threads symbolize the wish for good health. They are the heralds of the coming of spring and of new life.

Tradition dictates that Martenitsi are always given as gifts, not bought for oneself. They are given to loved ones, friends, and those people to whom one feels close.

First day of C4 SONG WRITING of 🇪🇺 “L’OCCHIO DEL TESTIMONE – THE WITNESS’ EYE”

 Our transnational project team met in Salerno, Italy on the first day of 'C4 - SONG WRITING' organized by METIVA ACADEMY. In this learning activity attended learners from METIVA ACADEMY and cultural operators/artists from the project partners APS 'PICSAR ABRUZZO', SCIENTIA NOVA Association, ESPACIO ROJO, SU "Sveti  sveti  Kiril  i  Metodii", Intermezzo Ungdomsorganisasjon.

During the period of February 28th – March 4th in Cava de' Tirreni, Salerno, Italy, will be organized the learning activity C4 SONG WRITING of the project “L’OCCHIO DEL TESTIMONE – THE WITNESS’ EYE”. 

The main objective of this learning activity is creating the project song which is to be achieved within a creative writing class for the theme song. 

This learning activity will be organized by METIVA ACADEMY.
